The Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting will be held in the head office of GYODER on April 19th, 2013 Friday at 14:00. In the absence of the quorum, the second meeting will be held at the same place and time, on April 26, 2013 Friday, without requiring a majority.

In the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held in Tekfen Towers on January 23rd, 2013 Wednesday, Board of Directors for the period 2013-2014 was elected. While Aziz Torun was appointed as Chairman of the Board; Ahmet Akbalık, Özlem Gökçe, Işık Gökkaya, Assoc. Prof. Feyzullah Yetgin was elected as Vice Chairman and Işık Gökkaya as Controller Member. Musa Aykaç, Ersun Bayraktaroğlu, Dr. M. Emre Çamlıbel, Neşecan Çekici, Ö.Faruk Çelik, Uğur Dumankaya, Hakan Kodal, Haluk Sur, Özcan Tahincioğlu and Turgay Tanes were elected as Members of the Board.

The Turkish economy and real estate market are going through a significant progress. The real estate sector, the flagship of the Turkish economy, is at the dawn of a historical process through new and very important developments such as urban transformation and new legal adjustments, which enable foreigners to purchase real estate in Turkey. Having become a safe and attractive haven through political and economic stability established, particularly during the post global crisis period, Turkey offers investors a variety of extremely appealing opportunities in the real estate sector.

To spread the awareness on Turkey, an international road show starting in the UK has been planned by GYODER (The Association of Real Estate Investment Companies) in cooperation with the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT). The event was supported by the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB) and the Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE), and sponsored by HSBC Bank.

In the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held in the head office of our association on January 27th, 2011 Thursday, Board of Directors for the period 2011-2012 was elected. While Işık Gökkaya was appointed as Chairman of the Board; Özlem Gökçe was elected as Vice Chairman and Feyzullah Yetgin as Controller Member. M. Emre Çamlıbel, Uğur Dumankaya, Hakan Eren, Mehmet Erktin, Orhan Gündüz, Cemal Onaran, Korkut Ün, and Cansel Turgut Yazıcı were elected as Members of the Board.

GYODER New Year Gathering was arranged at Swiss Hotel on December 22 Wednesday. The night event was attended by 250 participants. GYODER Chairman Turgay Tanes presented evaluations of 2010 and projections on 2011 and awarded former chairmen with plaques. Also Deniz Seki lent color to the night with her songs.

The Appraisal Committee Meeting was held on 1st of July between 14:00-17:00 hours at GYODER head office. In the meeting, overview to the appraisal services, the studies to improve the appraisal services, the problems of the sector and suggestions for the solutions are discussed.

In the 10th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held in the head office of our association on January 29th, 2009 Thursday, Board of Directors for the period 2009-2010 was elected. While Turgay Tanes was appointed as Chairman of the Board; Işık Gökkaya was elected as Vice Chairman and Feyzullah Yetgin as Controller Member. Bekir Cumurcu, Nurhan Azizoğlu, Emre Çamlıbel, Hakan Eren, Ramadan Kumova and Bahadır Teker were elected as Members of the Board.

ISTANBUL REstate was presented to real estate executives, leaders of the sector and experts, at a launching event held at the Çırağan Palace on Tuesday October 14, 2008. The event attracted more than 300 local and international representatives of the sector as well as several members of the press.
