NEW MEMBERSHIP



I. Permanent Membership:

The permanent members of the Association have the right to vote and stand for election.

a. Corporate Permanent Membership (Legal Entity)

They are the members having the status of legal entity who have all the obligations and responsibilities required by the Association membership and are represented by their chairmen or by real persons appointed by their representatives, who have the right to vote and stand for election.

 

b. Individual Permanent Membership (Real Entity)

It is a real entity who has undertaken all obligations and responsibilities required by the Association membership and has the right to vote and stand for election. The authorized person makes membership application in the name of real entity and legal entity. If the legal entity is a member, the chairman of the board or the person appointed for the representation votes. When this person’s service term for chairmanship or representation ends, the person who will vote on behalf of the legal entity is re-determined again and reported to the Association.

II. Activity Membership:

Real persons who are working in the companies that are the members of the Association, who want to contribute to the activities of the Association in accordance with the objectives of the Association, who want to benefit from the activities of the Association, and other real and legal entities who have the capacity to act, can be selected as Activity Members through a board decision for a certain period of time or indefinitely. Activity Members who are able to benefit from Association activities and services do not have the right to vote and stand for election.

III. Academic and Honorary Membership:

They are the members selected by the recommendation of the board of directors and the decision of the general assembly among the persons working in academic circles at universities or colleges related with the sector, those who have worked for the Association in terms of its purposes and services. Academic and Honorary members do not have the right to vote and stand for election; if they wish, they are able to make contributions.
